Identify Best-selling Image Trends BEFORE Writing Your Next Article or book.

This featured banner image, has nothing whatsoever to do with my article, I just fell in love with the mystery of it all. Over the past few years, there’s been a complete turnaround  in the article publishing scene.

What was once fashionable is now dead in the water. That’s not to say that an old trend was simply a passing phase, or that it won’t make a comeback, change, while being a good thing, can be quite fickle but for 2018, keeping up with current trends will help you tremendously get more views.

Regardless of your favorite genre, it’s important for writers to search out the competition in their quest to find topic market domination. And, this doesn’t only effect genres that are popular right now.

It can actually mean your banner image style! For instance, banners with images of people surged in popularity but now we seem to be regressing to a more minimalist approach in many genres.

Exploring the best-sellers at Barnes & Noble or Amazon, can give you a good indication of what kind of book and magazine cover images should be effective over the coming few months, following the image style, can lead to more views for your next article. Why should you do this?

Because of supply-and-demand. If you are able to identify a trend, early you stand to be king of the heap of the early birds doing it. Even if you're a bit late getting to the party, you can still benefit! Mainly, because most of humanity suffer from deluge syndrome! You know, Noah walked the hell out of his sandles telling folks to get ready for the mother of all storms and we know, 8 actually listened, while the rest... died from deluge syndrome.

So how do you begin writing?

Well, I did a lot of Market research. Which as most writers on Virily know, is a term used internationally to describe how a companies stay ahead of the competition.
The easiest place I get my information from, is from book-sites that highlight current book and magazine bestsellers, as far as the banner images theory is concerned, the covers and topics are a goldmine for figuring out what exactly is trending in any genre.
You can capitalize on this angle, by identifying, using various tools at your disposal why they’re doing so well. Perhaps, if your curiosity is piqued, by this theory, don’t try to fit into the mold of just this one marketing plan. Using only the top ten in your gendre, there will be other key signs as to what is perculiar about those trending magazine and book cover images.  you would share your tips on staying ahead of the pack.
Once you've seen what is trending now, go and see if you can locate other books and magazines that are climbing in popularity.
A climbing book means that it hasn’t yet peaked, and that means there may be a trend that hasn’t yet peaked.
As I said above, getting into the trend ASAP is vital, unless you’re going to be the one influencing the industry.

However unlikely it may sound, you won’t be the first to acieve this. That’s why it’s important to have a quick turnover with your post writing! Time waits for no one, he who hesitates is lost and if you snooze you loose and so on and so forth.
For those who are only able to write posts and books about specific genres, you may have realized your work falls into a sub-genre.

These sub-genres are much easier to work with when compared to cross-genre writers, and that makes your banner image research slightly easier.
Again, you need to identify the current trends, and what is climbing. Pay attention, your one-genre - covers, as this is especially important for those of you writing in only niche! Look at the posts that are trending on Virily and see if there seems to a trend to their Image designs for those posts.

On the Internet, an image can make or break your article, but an image that’s not in-fashion can stop a view, no matter how well designed it is.

In conclusion, there are two major components to research for writers: Image and content. These two will deeply enhance your views rank by playing to what people want.
See the ads on Virily, watch carefully what topics and images they flash over and over, in front of you. The sooner you believe what I'm telking you, the less likely the market will be found saturated.
Show the images that people demand, and ensure your pictures are the very best. Study, adapt, and dominate the genre you write about.
